Choosing to pursue a career in the medical profession is a secure and sound decision. The medical profession is always hiring skilled professionals that have training for the multitude of medical positions in the field. Physician


A physician works in a medical office or hospital, and helps patients by diagnosing and treating medical problems. To become a physician, you will usually need a 4-year degree from a university, a 2-year degree from a medical school and an internship at a hospital.


Surgeon


A surgeon require all of the education of a physician, as well as a surgical internship and specialized studies in surgery. Surgeons work on internal and external repairing of the human body, and can make the most money out of anyone in the medical field.


Nurses


Nurses are in charge of taking blood pressure, giving shots and tending to people who are in recovery from surgeries. They are usually required to completed a degree in nursing school at a university.


Medical Secretary


Medical secretaries need to not only possess experience as secretaries in offices, but must have experience with specific medical software and medical filing programs.


Medical Hospitality


Medical hospitality workers work in the entryways to hospitals and help patients and visitors find their way around the hospital. Retired people have an easy time finding positions as medical hospitality persons.
