Located in western Virginia in Roanoke, Virginia, VWCC is a public community college that offers a radiography program that is fully accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. This program offers an associate's degree that makes graduates eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification exam to become a certified radiology technician. Riverside School of Health is a private college that is a part of the Riverside Health System. Located on the east coast of Virginia in Newport News, Virginia, RS offers a fully-accredited radiologic technologist program that takes about 18 months to complete.
