Large breasts can cause major discomfort. Three ways to reduce breast size are surgery, diet and exercise, and breast-reduction pills.
Breast Reduction Surgery
For immediate results, breast reduction surgery can remove large amounts of breast tissue all at once, and you can choose your new cup size. The downside is that all surgical procedures carry risks. You may lose sensation in your nipples due to the cutting and re-positioning of them, and you may have visible scarring on your breasts. The surgery entails cutting around the breast to remove tissue, reshaping the tissue that remains, and suturing the incisions to complete the procedure.
You can choose between a scarless procedure and a vertical incision procedure. The scarless reduction requires a small incision and the breast tissue is taken out by liposuction. It leaves just a small scar, most of the time unnoticeable. The vertical incision procedure gives small but visible scars underneath your breasts.
Diet and Exercise
The best way to stay healthy and trim is through diet and exercise. That's the natural way to lose weight, which in turn reduces breast size. When you exercise, the first areas that shrink on your body are areas of fatty deposits. As a woman, one of your natural fatty deposits is your breasts. That's one area where you'll begin to see the fat disappearing first. The advantage of the diet and exercise approach is that your body gains from this all the way around, and you get the results you're looking for. The downside is that it takes much longer than surgery, you cannot sculpt your breasts into the shape you prefer, and any subsequent weight gains are likely to go back into your breasts.
Weight training and working the pectoral muscles in your chest are a good way to keep your breast tissue firm and perky while the tissue starts to break down and your breasts begin to shrink.
Breast Reduction Pills
Doctors say to be wary of pills and medications that claim to work miracles for your body. Several brands of breast-reducing pills claim to be made from natural, healthy ingredients, to usually have no side effects, and not to require a prescription. Their efficacy has not been proved to the satisfaction of the medical establishment.
