Make Music Notes On Facebook Status

Use music notes to enclose song quotes or titles in your status updates.


Special symbols, called Unicode characters, aren't found on your keyboard, but you can use them by copying them from the the Windows 7 character map application. To insert special symbols, such as music notes, in your Facebook status, you just need to create the symbols you want, then copy them and paste them into Facebook's status update box.


Instructions


Character Map


1. Click the Start button. Type "character map" without quotation marks into the search box.


2. Click inside the check box next to "Advanced View" to activate it. Select "Unicode Subrange" from the menu next to the "Group By:" option. Select "Symbols and Dingbats" in the Group By dialog window.


3. Double-click each symbol you want to copy in the character map. Click "Copy."


4. Log in to Facebook. Click inside of the Status Update box. Right-click and select "Paste" from the menu or press "Ctrl" and "V" at the same time on the keyboard to paste the music notes.
