Patient Care Tech Schools In Michigan

In-depth training for Patient Care Technicians can take as little as three months

Patient Care Technicians are an important part to any health care team, as they assist with the initial evaluation of the patient, provide treatment and monitor patient's recovery, along with answering any questions the patient or family members have during discharge. Ability to think on one's feet and performance under pressure is key to helping with the treatment of any patient. Michigan has a variety of schools that have programs specifically designed and catered for Patient Care Technicians.

Everest College

Everest College provides students with hands-on career training, a Career Placement Office that helps students find jobs after graduation and in most cases, a nine month completion rate. The Patient Care Technician Program at Everest College will provide student with training in clinical work, like collecting or drawing blood, administering electrocardiograms, recording vital signs and patient treatments and understanding functions of the body and its illnesses.
