The Panasonic CT-27D31's remote can be programmed to control DVD players


If you own a Panasonic' CT-27D31 television, you can can connect DVD players and cable service to the set's interface. The Panasonic CT-27D31 ships with a universal remote that controls devices that are connected to the television. Before using the remote, learn the programming method for syncing it to your DVD player. It should only take a minute or two.


Instructions


1. Plug the DVD player's AC cable into one of the power outlets on the back of the television set. Do not turn the player's power on at this time.


2. Look in your television's instructional manual for the three-digit code that coincides with your particular DVD player. If you are unable to locate your television's manual, download it from the Panasonic website under their "Support and Downloads" tab.


3. Hold both the "Power" and "Action" buttons on the remote at the same time for five seconds, then release them.


4. Press the "DVD" input button on the remote, then enter the three-digit code for your DVD player on the controller's keys. You must enter the three digit code in under thirty seconds for the programming to work.


5. Press the power button on the remote. Your DVD player will now turn on, indicating that the programming was successful.
