Avacor Side Effects

Avacor is a hair-loss product that is manufactured by Global Vision Products. It contains a topical solution, a DHT blocker and a scalp-detoxifying shampoo to promote the natural growth of hair.

Avacor is a three-part hair growth system.

Moderate Side Effects

Some of the moderate side effects of Avacor include excessive hair growth, changes in body hair, weight gain, nausea and vomiting.

Severe Side Effects

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects while using Avacor: hives, rash, itching, difficulty breathing, facial swelling, vision changes, hearing changes, excessive weight gain, increased heart rate, lightheadedness, fainting, pounding heartbeat or pain in the chest, arm or shoulder.

Considerations

Talk to your doctor before beginning Avacor. You may have a serious, underlying health condition that is causing your hair loss.

Warning

Women, children and babies should not use Avacor. Frontal baldness and receding hairlines will not improve with the use of Avacor. Do not use this medication if you don't have a family history of hair loss or if you have unexplained or sudden hair loss, an irritated or infected scalp or if you are currently using another medication on your scalp.

Controversy

The FDA has implemented a new drug application process for over-the-counter hair-growth products. Avacor hasn't gained FDA approval yet, because it hasn't been approved under the new process.
