Donate To Breast Cancer Research

Though found primarily in women, men can also get breast cancer. According to the Susan G. Komen For The Cure charity, breast cancer tumors grow more slowly than other cancers. In fact, a tumor can grow 10 years before it can be felt in the breast, though some tumors are more aggressive and grow faster. Breast cancer incidences vary from country to country, and there is no cure for it as of April 2010. Breast cancer-specific charities focus on prevention, treatment and research. These charities accept donations to do their work.

Instructions

1. Select a charity that accepts charitable donations for breast cancer research. Such charities include Susan G. Komen For The Cure, The National Breast Cancer Foundation, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The American Cancer Society and Cancer Research UK.

2. View the website for the charity you select to see what types of donations they accept. Though all breast cancer research charities accept cash donations, some accept non-cash donations, such as a car or airline miles.

3. Make your donation to the breast cancer research charity via their website. If you prefer to donate by another method, such as by mail, look for instructions on the donation page of the charity's website.
