Frigidaire Gallery dishwashers are a line of appliances designed for residential use. The dishwashers are intended for permanent installation under your kitchen counters; they require wiring directly to your home's electrical system rather than just plugging into a wall outlet. The dishwasher has a main control board that controls all of its functions, and like many electronics, one may malfunction. If the control board malfunctions, the dishwasher may become unresponsive. To restore functionality to the dishwasher, perform a master reset.
Instructions
1. Locate your home's service panel. The service panel is often located in the garage, laundry room or utility room, and is covered by a metal panel.
2. Turn off the breaker that supplies power to your dishwasher. The breakers are labeled upon installation, and the labels are often located on the inside of the metal panel.
3. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the dishwasher breaker back to the On position to complete the reset.
4. Call a repair technician if performing a master reset did not clear up the control board issue. If your Gallery dishwasher is under warranty, contact the factory or a Frigidaire representative in your area.
