Spot Signs And Symptoms Of Cancer

Could I have Cancer?

Cancer affects millions of people both directly and indirectly. There are things that can be done to help prevent cancer such as a healthy lifestyle, not smoking, and having cancer screenings, but what if those do not work? You may be wondering if you have signs or symptoms of cancer.

Instructions

1. Experiencing change in bowel habits or abdominal pain can be a sign of cancer.

2. Having pain in the throat or a sore throat that will not go away is a symptom that should be checked for cancer.

3. Bleeding or discharge from any part of your body that is unusual should be considered a reason for a doctors visit.

4. Finding lumps or thick spots in the breast, testicles, or anywhere on the body could be a sign of cancer and should be checked.

5. Swallowing problems or indigestion should not be taken lightly. If you have this for over a couple of weeks, see your doctor. It may be more serious than acid reflux disease.

6. Seeing a change in a sore, mole, or spot in your mouth is a definite concern that should be addressed. Any change or bleeding constitutes a visit to the doctor.

7. Coughing that will not go away or hoarseness is also a sign of possible cancer.

8. Having a headache that will not subside should be checked by a doctor as well.

9. Loss of weight or decreased appetite is also a reason for concern. A healthy person will have a desire for food, and should maintain body weight.
