Defend Yourself From Burglars

Defend Yourself from Burglars

Picture being at home, relaxing and taking a nap. Suddenly you hear the door open, and you are not sure who it could be. You peak around the corner, because you were not expecting anyone. Much to your surprise, it's a burglar in your house! Being burglarized can be one of the scariest moments of anyone's life. It's important that you learn defend yourself against a burglar. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Grab a belt and bend it in half. Run up to your burglar waving the belt around as if you are going to hit them. Hopefully this will work to scare the burglar, but if not, you should use the belt and hit them. Keep in mind that it's within most laws to defend yourself.

2. Look for perfume, hair spray, or deodorant that sprays out of a can. Use this as you would use pepper spray by spraying the burglar in the eyes. This should cause pain to the burglar and hopefully keep them distracted long enough for you to escape out of the house.

3. Try to locate a glass bottle that you may have nearby. Use the glass bottle to smash over the person's head. This should cause enough pain and distract the person long enough that you can either restrain the burglar or escape from the house.

4. If you are near a kitchen or somewhere that you have a lemon, grab it. Try to squeeze or squirt lemon-juice into the eyes of the attacker. This will cause a temporary blindness and allow you enough time to make your escape.

5. Try to get out of the house and not attack the burglar. In most cases you will be better off to just try to get out of the house and let the police deal with the burglar. After all, they are the ones that are trained in this sort of thing.
