Bed bugs can be hiding in your bed.
Bed bug bites are painless, but they can prompt an allergic reaction that will cause red bumps to form on your skin. Most bites occur at night, because the bed bugs are nocturnal, and are more active before dawn. You can inspect your bed to see if it has bed bugs. Look at the corners of the mattress, and any impressions on the mattress, carefully. The bed bugs are small and appear either black or red in color.
Instructions
1. Clean your bite. Since your bite is not an open wound, you can use water and soap to clean it.
2. Apply triple antibiotic ointment to your bite. You can buy triple antibiotic ointment in most local pharmacies.
3. Reapply the triple antibiotic ointment two or three times a day, especially after showering.
4. Drink or take diphenhydramine tablets every six hours, as needed. This is an antihistamine used to treat allergic reactions. Only use this if you have intense swelling around your bite.
