While it is true that breasts naturally sag with age, there are a few things a woman can do to prevent her breasts from dropping excessively. Breast tissue commonly loses density with age, so all breasts will begin to drop as the woman gets older. Short of surgery, there is nothing a woman can do to completely stop the cycle, but there are a few things that can be done to delay breast sagging.
Instructions
1. Exercise regularly. Lifting weights at the gym can help aid in breast tissue reinforcement. Try any exercise machine that is used to build up pectoral muscles. Use the lat pull-down, performing 15 times in a row and increasing as you get stronger, or the pec fly machine, placing your hands on either side of the leather cushions and bringing them together, working against the weights.
2. Exercise at home. Push-ups (about 15 to 20 per day) are a great way to start. You can also try placing your palms together and pushing inward so that you flex your chest muscles and give them more of a work out.
3. Wear the right bra. This can help your sagging breasts immensely. Go to a professional bra fitter to find the right size. Choose styles that do not dig into your skin. The cups should not be loose, nor should your breast flow over the top of the cup. Your chest band should provide most of the support. Dot rely on straps to hold the breasts up.
4. Lose weight if you need to. This can help tighten the chest muscles and make your breasts appear much firmer.
5. Do not lose weight too quickly. Follow your doctor's advice when it comes to weight loss. Losing weight too quickly can result in saggy breasts as the breasts stretch when gaining weight and then rapidly decrease in size upon losing weight too quickly
