Grants For Women In Illinois

Grants can help to reach your goals.

Many grants are available for women in Illinois. Grants for women are particularly focused on helping women achieve higher education, improve economic status or gain the skills they need to reenter the workforce.

Eleanor Foundation

The grants available from the Eleanor Foundation are used in order to help women achieve economic independence. Single, working women are eligible to apply for grants. This is the only public grant fund that helps women achieve their economic goals. The foundation focuses on research-driven programs that can increase the importance of working women as a valuable asset within the community. They provide single point of access services for mothers who are caretakers and breadwinners and do not have the time to go to different areas for training, reliable childcare, education and affordable credit. These grants are used to help women achieve and sustain economic stability. If you are a single, working woman in need of assistance, the foundation can provide grants in partnership with local businesses and communities to provide the needed assistance. Resource grants are used for goals such as achieving better housing, skill training, job education and assistance for young mothers.
