Correct Bad Posture After A Breast Reduction

Wearing the right bra after a breast reduction can help your posture.


After a breast reduction, posture will be one of many things to get used to.There are some tips and exercises to help directly after the procedure. Some of the exercises can also be done in the future to maintain your posture.


Instructions


1. Weekly exercise can help your posture.


Exercise weekly. This includes running, jogging or walking. Exercising will naturally help your posture and it will strengthen your arms, legs and back.


2. Wear a bra that is designed with extra support. Sports bras or posture bras, with thicker straps, are an example of a bra made to lift and support. This will also help to shape the breasts after the breast reduction procedure.


3. Stretch by sitting in a chair where with your feet touching the ground. Place your hands on your thighs. Then squeeze your shoulder blades together and hold for a few seconds.


4. Sit comfortably. Simply lift your breast bone. Your shoulder blades should go downward and towards each other.


5. Practice breathing exercises. Inhale, as you do so pull in your abs (your stomach should be tense but not overly pulled in). The length time on the hold should be a normal breath. Exhale slowly releasing your stomach to its relaxed state. Repeat five times.
