Cna Med Tech Training In Florida

CNA Med Tech Training in Florida

Quality Health Care Training Academy, Miami Dade College, Ultimate Medical Academy, Florida National College and Pasco-Hernando Community College are some of the schools that offer certified nursing assistant medical technical training in Florida. The schools are located throughout the state. Each of the schools is fully accredited and offers licensed training, so you can enter the medical profession and assist physicians and nurses at clinics, hospitals or nursing homes. Depending on where you work as a certified nurse's assistant, you might record and maintain patient medical records, perform additional administrative functions, or assist a patient with hygiene needs and help supervise a patient's recovery.

Quality Health Care Training Academy

The academy is a private school that is headquartered in Bradenton, Florida. The school is licensed by the Florida Department of Education and the Commission for Independent Learning. The curriculum is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing. Each classroom is equipped with patient labs that allow students to receive clinical competency learning. On-site state testing is offered for students who pursue nurse's assistant licensing. Students must be at least 18 years old to take the national certification test. Courses taught for CNA training include the 120-hour bridge program and the CPR/CNA continuing education program. In addition to classroom training, students who are in the bridge program are required to complete clinical rotations at an area nursing home or hospital. The academy has four training centers (see Resources), and more information can be obtained by calling the Bradenton center at (941) 727-2273.
