Tri-County Technical College is located in Oconee County, South Carolina, which borders Habersham County. Tri-County Tech offers education in the areas of healthcare, business, computers, technology, industry, public services, personal services, early childhood education, accounting and broadcasting. While attending this school means paying out-of-state tuition for Georgia students, it is closer to Habersham residents than most technical colleges in Georgia and offers a unique bridge program to Clemson University.
