Package tracking lets you find out when your package is scheduled to arrive.
You can track the progress of anything you send by mail through the United States Postal Service on the USPS website. This feature lets you check whether the package you sent to your grandparents made it in time for Christmas, or if your sister's gift arrived before her birthday. The system also allows you to check up on the things you've ordered through the mail.
Instructions
1. Go to the USPS website. Look for the "Track and Confirm" option, located near the upper right-hand corner of the page.
2. Enter your tracking number into the box labeled "Enter Label/Receipt Number." The tracking number can be found on your post office sales receipt or in the conformation email, if you purchased an item online.
3. Click "Go." A screen appears indicating the progress of the package as it checks in and out of each U.S. mail processing center on the way to its final destination.
