Lipidil EZ is a fenofibrate medication used to lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels in users. This medication also prevents the development of pancreatitis caused by high levels of triglycerides in patients. As with most cholesterol medications, there are a number of side effects associated with using the drug.
Common Side Effects
As mentioned, there are certain side effects that can come as a result of using Lipidil EZ. Some of these side effects include difficulty breathing, chest congestion, chills, fever, muscle aches and pains, nausea, vomiting, hives, infection, itching, and skin rash. While these are considered the most common side effects associated with using this drug, they only affect a small number of users.
Severe Side Effects
Unfortunately, there are also a number of severe side effects associated with using this medication. Some of these side effects include sore throat, bloating, severe stomach pain, chronic indigestion, cough, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, stiffness, unusual bleeding or bruising, vomiting, yellowing of the skin and eyes, and chills. These side effects are also very rare and do not affect a large amount of users.
Important Safety Information
Lipidil EZ has been known to cause increased dizziness and drowsiness in users. As a result, it is highly recommended not to operate any type of machinery (including automobiles) while using this medication. Tell your doctor if you have ever had an allergic reaction to any type of medication, especially fenofibrate. Lipidil EZ has never been tested in pregnant women, so exercise extreme caution when taking this drug if you are pregnant.
Usage
Always use this medication exactly as it was prescribed by your doctor and never exceed the dosage recommendations written on the label. This medication works best by combining treatment with proper diet and exercise, so talk with your doctor about a proper regimen for your physical condition. Lipidil EZ is usually taken once per day and should be taken with a full glass of water.
