Make Your Own Sample Bifold Brochure

Brochures are essentially a mini description of the services that a company has to offer. Usually, the brochure will include only the most appealing or important services and information. You may want to create your own brochure for your business to save the costs of having it made at a print shop. For the other people involved in making decisions for your business, and for your own review, create a sample brochure.

Instructions

1. Open the word processing software on your computer. Click on the word "file" on the top of the window, then click "new...". A window will open to allow you to choose what type of document to create.

2. Click on the "publications" tab and select "brochure" from the available options. A brochure will appear, with some generic information on it.

3. Replace the text on the brochure with the information you want to include about your business. Note that there are three separate columns. The format of the generic information in each column will give you a clue as to where the front page, back page and middle sections will be.

4. Add photos to accompany your information. Click the generic photo to highlight it, click the word "insert" at the top of the window, and select "picture." Click on the "from file" option and double-click the photo in the navigational box that appears.

5. Print your finished brochure. Click "file" and select "print." Fold the brochure along the edges of the columns to finish the project.
