As an x-ray technician you will be responsible for the proper handling of x-ray equipment.
X-ray technicians are responsible for checking for fractures and other irregularities relating to the interior structure of the human body. Like many jobs in the health care industry, x-ray technicians are in demand in the state of California. The Vista and North Hollywood Campuses of Kaplan College offers training to become an x-ray technician. In this program you will learn about hest, extremity, and torsoskeletal x-ray procedures as well as duties that come with being an x-ray technician. A major component of Kaplan's training focuses on safety as it relates to both you and the patients that you will be working with. Their program also helps prepare students for the California State Examination in Limited Permit Radiologic Technology for state certification.
