How can i convert scotts broadcast spreader settings to earthway or cyclone

How can I convert Scotts broadcast spreader settings to Earthway or Cyclone?

I have an Earthway Ev-N-Spread Model 2150 broadcast spreader. Most of the products I use on my lawn are produced by Scotts. Unfortunately, the Scotts products only list spreader settings for Scotts spreaders. I am able to convert Cyclone settings to my spreader settings but don't know do that with the Scotts spreader settings. Does anyone know convert the Scotts spreader settings to either Earthway or Cyclone broadcast spreader settings???? You need to do it by the square ft of coverage and the pounds per square ft. (Example: 20LB bag with 10,000 square foot coverage = 2.0LBS/1,000 square feet) That would be #13 on your spreader. Here are the instructions. http://www.earthway.com/uploads/435.pdf Mike NJ Thanks a lot. That's exactly what I was looking for. I have no idea where I would be without this forum......it's the answer to my prayers. Thanks again.....buzcar You still dont know how much actual N,P,or K you put out. Try doing this: ex. 15-5-10 fert and you want 1/2 pound of actual nitrogen per thousand square feet. .5 (1/2 pound) divided by .15 (amount of nitrogen per pound of product) = 3.3 pounds of commercial product/1000sq.ft. equals 1/2 pound of N/m. Times it by two to get 1 pound of N/m.
