Check The Status Of My Washington State Dshs Benefits

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services provides assistant services to state residents in the form of temporary cash, food stamps, Medicaid, health care assistance and other benefits. To apply for Washington State DSHS benefits you must apply online or at a local DSHS office. Once benefits are awarded, you may check the status of these benefits in-person or online.

Instructions

1. Contact the Community Services Division of the DSHS by calling 1-877-501-2233 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Upon calling, you may inquire about the status of your benefits, request replacement cards or report changes to your benefits.

2. Visit a Community Services Office nearest to you if you prefer to meet in-person. The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services website offers a searchable database of all authorized offices. All DSHS Community Services Office locations are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

3. Bring appropriate personal identification documentation when visiting a Community Services office such as your Washington State driver's license, Social Security card and official documents provided to you by the DSHS.
