Summer Camps For Kids In California

Adventure Camps at SeaWorld in San Diego is just one summer camping experience for youth in California.

Destination Science


Destination Science hosts youth camps throughout California, including Orange County, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Alameda County. At the week-long Destination Science camps, boys and girls participate in innovative and hands-on games, activities, projects and challenges, according to Destination Science. Technology, space and physics are the elements of science that correlate with many of the camp's programs and activities, according to Destination Science, and the camp follows the National Science Education Standards.

California Soccer Camps


The United States Sports Camps (USSC) offer soccer camps for high-school students interested in playing the sport in college. USSC hosts two week-long summer soccer camps in California; one in Santa Cruz and the other in Santa Barbara. All camp participants participate in scrimmages and drills with coaches and college-level soccer players, according to USSC, and while doing so, the campers increase their athletic ability and better understand the strategies of soccer. In addition to soccer, guest coaches and athletes host evening seminars that correlate with college planning and motivation, according to USSC.
