There is a wide array of job opportunities for people pursuing radiology careers. Finding a great job with a radiology degree requires a well-structured resume, drive and a positive attitude.

1. Get a pen and notebook to begin brainstorming ideas. Think about what kind of radiology career you want to begin. Itemize a list of about five radiology jobs. Consider which jobs would be the most rewarding. Research the jobs on the Radiology Careers website (see Resources, below). Find information such as salary, job outlook, job description and benefits. Narrow your list of five career options down to one or two, once you weigh the pros and cons of each career.
2. Review your resume. Ensure that it is tailored to your radiology degree and any experience pertinent to radiology. Include all experiences such as internships, jobs and courses taken. Ensure that the objective states that you are looking to fulfill the demands of the position you seek. Having a clear objective is crucial, because it shows employers that you are eager and serious. Avoid making the resume too wordy. A resume that is concise and straightforward is more likely to be read by an employer. As a general rule, it should not be over one page in length.
3. Type the name of the job into the Radiology Careers website search engine. Specify the location in which you desire to work. Look over at least five different employers' job posts. Apply for the positions online and submit your resume with a cover letter tailored to each position.
4. Go to the Craigslist website. Search for any available openings for the radiology position you seek. Broaden your search results by looking for jobs in various cities.
